It is believed that the virus is spread through close contact with an infected person who can transmit the virus through smallpox-related skin or airborne lesions.

It is currently reported that sexually transmitted diseases from one partner to another have been reported during the outbreak.

It should be noted that according to the WHO, as of June 9, more than a thousand cases of monkeypox were confirmed in 29 countries.
On June 10, the first case of monkeypox was officially confirmed in Poland. Apart from Poland, the disease was detected in Hungary from neighboring countries.
